Programs

At Ready Set Gig, we want students to experience a better way to learn and play music! Ready Set Gig offers group-based, performance-focused music education on popular instruments (voice & singing, guitar & bass, piano & keyboard, drums) for children and adults, combining one-on-one lessons, band play, elements of theory, stage presence, and recording to promote a lifelong passion for music, working hard, and achieving your goals. As it says right in our name, live performance or gigging is a central element in our program because it gives students a time-bound way to strive for improvement. Plus, that feeling of satisfaction that comes from being recognized for a job well-done is indescribably awesome!

What We Offer

RSG offers several programs for aspiring musicians. For programs involving onstage performance, the events occur at various club venues around Las Vegas.

Theoretical Basis for Academics

RSG uses a music theory text developed for kids by noted educator Dr. Tobias Rush of the University of Dayton, out of his own experience teaching children how to play music. Written as a graphic novel, Dr. Rush’s text covers important theoretical principals, standard musical notation, and other key concepts – all in a format highly accessible for kids.
